Nursery on a Budget

A couple years back I had a friend approach me about finding some items for her nursery. She was pregnant with her first little girl and was so excited to have all the frills for her baby girl’s room. However, just like everyone else, she was on a budget. Sometimes when you are on a budget you have to put a little more work into things to get them just the way you want them to look. My friend was more than willing so I knew I could help her find what she wanted. The search began!

I found a rocking chair and ottoman for $15 at a garage sale which was sent to be reupholstered.

The crib was bought off of Craigslist.

My Mom found this frame at a thrift store in Las Vegas. She paid $3 for it!!

I found these lamps at a garage sale and paid $7 for the set.

I also found this amazing shelf at a thrift store for $5 which was spray painted to match the room.

And because every new mother wants her baby close at night I picked up this beautiful circular bassinet at a garage sale for $40 dollars! With some new fabric this turned out amazing!

My passion in life is searching for great deals and I loved the thrill of  finding the things I did for the nursery. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to start decorating other people’s spaces!! If you want help, PLEASE, this is what I love to do! I will have pricing up on my blog soon or you can email me with questions at insidetherobinsnest@gmail.com.
